Federal and State Cannabis Laws and Regulations

Overview of federal and state laws that relate to medical and adult use cannabis across the United States and specifically in New Jersey, including the history of the NJ Medical Marijuana Program and New Jersey Personal Use Cannabis Rules and Regulations, N.J.A.C. § 17:30. Includes a topics such as: past and present cannabis business licensing, details on how to register as a patient in the MMP, formation and duties of the CRC, the general rules that cannabis businesses must comply with and what can happen if there is a violation. 

Details:

• Module 1 consists of 2 pre-recorded videos that you should watch before the live class.
• The PDF of all PowerPoint presentations are included within the module, immediately preceding the corresponding video.
• Recordings of the live class will be posted within a day or two.
• There is no homework other than to watch the pre-recorded videos associated with each Module before the live class.
• You should complete the Module Quiz only when you are comfortable with the materials.
• Instructions for the Quiz are posted within the Quiz and within the syllabus.
