NEW SCHOLARSHIPS ANNOUNCED
The New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association, in partnership with NJ Cannabis Certified and Mercer County Community College are excited to announce 6 full scholarships for qualifying low income individuals to be made available for the May 3rd class at Mercer.
Thank you to the New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association!
The NJCTA is an association that represents the permitted operators in New Jersey’s Medicinal Marijuana Program. NJCTA was formed to protect affordable access to medicinal marijuana for New Jersey’s ~100,000 registered patients during and after the state’s transition to an adult-use market.
NJ Cannabis Certified recognizes the need to make industry training more accessible to those that need jobs the most. We are cognizant of the fact that COVID-19 has taken a toll on many of New Jersey’s residents.
We are always seeking sponsors to help cover the cost of tuition for low-income individuals (see sponsor page) and in the future we hope to partner with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union to provide mini apprenticeship within the industry.
Although we are associated with local community colleges, NJ Cannabis Certified is a non-credit class and at this time, does not qualify for any scholarships through the individual colleges.
Right now, NJ Cannabis Certified is proud to offer free tuition to up to five veterans for each class, on a first come, first served basis!
